My name is Patricia K. Terpstra but prefer to be called Patti. I enjoy working with children and have done so all my life. I have raised 4 children who are now adults and I have 6 grandchildren. I have worked in two local public schools as an education assistant teacher for almost 15 years. I took some time off to follow a dream of being a graphic designer but came back to working with children when I realized how much I missed working with kids. So I began as a professional nanny for a number of families with two children. I would take them to local Libraries and to programs at schools. It was the teacher at Fox Run Family Resource Center, Lynn, who suggested I go for my day care license. The best career I have ever done!
